Whenever you leave me alone and go away
I hear the same ancient gong beyond the bamboo groves.
A pensive whistle in the crickets’ neighborhood.
I dare not to keep myself with me.
I have least faith on me.
It would ever better to fall in love with a thief or a dacoit.
